The most recent shooting occurred around 11:20 p.m. in West Englewood.

The 15-year-old boy was shot late Tuesday night in the 4700 block of North Virginia Avenue.

"His gun is gone," Supt. McCarthy said, adding, "more guns is not the solution to gun violence."
