A 30-year-old man was also injured in the shooting early Sunday morning.

The shooting occurred around 6 p.m. Saturday in the 900 block of North Massasoit Avenue, police said.

Lawndale Nutall, 56, was shot dead in the 1500 block of West 72nd Street early Monday, authorities said.

One man was killed and five others were injured in shootings overnight, police said.

The 26-year-old man was in good condition after the shooting, police said.

The officers tried to break up a large crowd at the beach Sunday night, police said.

There were two additional drive-by shootings in Brainerd and Greater Grand Crossing.

Since Sunday afternoon, six people have been killed and 25 wounded in shootings across the city.

Joey Henderson, 24, of the 8400 block of South Buffalo Avenue was pronounced dead at 3:33 a.m.

Schiquille Salter, 23, of the 300 block of West 116th Street was pronounced dead at 9:54 p.m.

The woman, Tonya Gunn, was pronounced dead at 1:15 a.m. Monday.

The man was prounounced dead at 2:35 a.m. Wednesday.

The man was one of four shot in several incidents overnight on the South and West sides, police said.

The shooting occurred about a half mile from President Barack Obama's Kenwood home.
