HUMBOLDT PARK — Two shootings left three men wounded in the Humboldt Park neighborhood Saturday evening, police said.

Around 7:30 p.m., two men, 23 and 30, were sitting in a car in the 1600 block of North Artesian Avenue when someone shot at them from the street, according to Officer Hector Alfaro, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The 23-year-old was brought to Illinois Masonic Hospital with a gunshot wound in his buttocks, Alfaro said. The 30-year-old was brought to Stroger Hospital with a gunshot wound in his right leg.

Police could not provide their conditions but said both men were "stable."

Later, around 12:55 a.m. Sunday morning, a 33-year-old man showed up at Stroger Hospital with a gunshot wound in his face, police said.

The man did not cooperate with authorities, police said, but he claimed he was shot in the 2000 block of West North Avenue.

Police said the man is a documented gang member.

No one is in custody, Alfaro said.
