LITTLE VILLAGE — A 22-year-old man was in good condition after being shot in his arm in Little Village Monday evening, police said.

Around 5 p.m., the man was walking in the 2500 block of South Washtenaw Avenue when he heard gunshots and realized he'd been shot, according to Officer Hector Alfaro, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The man brought himself to Mount Sinai Hospital, Alfaro said.

Police said the man is a documented gang member and a convicted felon.
