AUSTIN — Four people were shot, two fatally, during a four-hour period in the Austin neighborhood Saturday, police said.

Two men were shot to death in different parts of the neighborhood between 3:40 p.m. and 3:45 p.m., police said.

• Around 6:15 p.m., a 50-year-old man was riding a bicycle in the 5900 block of West Division Street when someone shot at him from a light-colored sedan, according to Officer Hector Alfaro, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The man was brought to Mount Sinai Hospital, Alfaro said, where he was listed in fair condition.

• Less than five minutes later, a 44-year-old woman was walking in the 0-100 block of South Cicero Avenue when she heard gunshots and felt pain, police said.

The woman was brought to Mount Sinai Hospital, Alfaro said, where she was listed in good condition.

No one is in custody for any of the shootings, police said.
