After last year's easy breezy winter, Chicago's expected to have a long, brutal start to 2017. 

"It looks like great weather for the end of the summer," a meteorologist said.

The best day to get outside this weekend will be Friday, when the city's not expected to get rain.

More rain will hit Chicago, but the city should dry out by the end of the week.
