CHICAGO — Expect gray skies and rainy weather this weekend in Chicago.
Friday and Saturday will be chillier days with high temperatures in the mid-60s, said AccuWeather meteorologist Tom Kines. They'll also see a lot of clouds and a rain shower or two, he said.
Friday could see showers with 15-25 mph winds, Kines said. The National Weather Service also warned the lakeshore, including the city's bike path and low areas along the lake, could be flooded. The warning is in effect until noon Friday.
The city "probably won't get a lot of sunshine until next week," Kines said.
Sunday, when the Bears play the Detroit Lions at Soldier Field, isn't expected to be much better: There will be a few hours of sunshine during the afternoon. That could boost temperatures into the 70s, Kines said, but overall the day will be cloudy.
"Maybe by Sunday we can start talking about a little bit of sunshine, but I still think there will be more clouds than sun," Kines said.
The dreary weather is expected to last into early next week, Kines said.
