CHICAGO — Thursday's dreary weather will stick around for the rest of the day.
It'll be a gray, cloudy day, said AccuWeather meteorologist Tom Kines. It shouldn't rain all afternoon, but there will be showers.
"Over the next few days ... sunshine is going to be in short supply," Kines said. "Keep the umbrella handy."
The city isn't expected to get hit with any serious storms, Kines said.
But the National Weather Service issued a lakeshore flood advisory, warning that there could be flooding along the lakeshore from northeast Illinois to parts of northwester Indiana through Friday morning.
That means part of the city's lakeshore bike path could be flooded, according to the National Weather Service.
