CHICAGO — More rain will hit Chicago, but the city should dry out by the end of the week.

Monday will hit just 73 degrees, said AccuWeather meteorologist Tony Zartman, making it an unusually cool day for this time of year. Tuesday will hit 83 degrees, but low levels of humidity on both days means it shouldn't feel too hot.

"Should be fairly sunny," Zartman said. "Not even too many clouds in the sky both days."

Things will start to change on Wednesday, when there will be more clouds, showers and thunderstorms are possible, Zartman said. Temperatures will hit 80 degrees and humidity will be higher.

Thursday will be similar with a high of 80 degrees and a chance for more rain, Zartman said.

The rain should end by Friday, and the dry spell is expected to last throughout the weekend. The high temperature for Friday should be just 76 degrees, Zartman said.
