CHICACO — At least 15 people have been killed and 84 wounded in shootings since Friday evening, when people began celebrating the holiday weekend.

Shootings have killed eight people and wounded 34 since Tuesday, police said.

• At 3:32 a.m. Wednesday, a 42-year-old man was found fatally shot in Englewood.

• At 1:44 a.m., a man was shot dead in Auburn Gresham.

• At 1:17 a.m., two people were shot to death in Roseland. Another two people were wounded in the shooting.

• At 12:26 a.m., a 30-year-old man was gunned down in Garfield Park. Another person was wounded in the attack.

• At 12:01 a.m., a 29-year-old man was shot and killed in Bronzeville. Two others were wounded.

• At 8:14 p.m. Tuesday, a 56-year-old man was killed in a shooting in Austin. Another man, 19, was wounded.

• At 5:18 p.m., a 21-year-old man was shot and killed in Riverdale.

In nonfatal shootings:

• At 3:30 a.m. Monday, a 23-year-old man was shot in South Chicago, police said. The man was standing on the sidewalk in the 9000 block of South Escanaba Avenue when he heard shots and felt pain.

The man was hit in his right leg and was taken to Trinity Hospital before being transferred to Advocate Christ Medical Center, police said. His condition was not immediately available.

• At 2:59 a.m., a 33-year-old man was shot in University Village.

• At 2:10 a.m., a 34-year-old man was shot in South Chicago, police said. The man was sitting in a parked car in the 8100 block of South Coles Avenue when a woman in the car with him took out a gun and fired shots.

The man was hit in his abdomen and right leg and was taken to Northwestern Hospital in critical condition, police said.

• At 1:45 a.m., a 22-year-old man took himself to West Suburban Hospital after being shot. The man was hit in his face and neck and drove himself to the hospital, but he was not able to say what happened or where he was shot.

The man was transferred to Stroger Hospital and was in critical condition, police said.

No further information was immediately available.

• At 1 a.m., a man was shot in Humboldt Park. He didn't seek help until hours later because he thought he'd been hit by a firework.

• At 12:54 a.m., a 33-year-old woman was shot in North Lawndale, police said. The woman was standing on the sidewalk in the 3800 block of West Grenshaw Street when someone in a black car fired shots.

The woman was hit and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where her condition was not available but she was listed as "stable," police said.

• Also at 12:54 a.m., a 28-year-old man was shot in University Village.

• At 12:49 a.m., two men were shot in Roseland, police said. The men were standing on the sidewalk in the 200 block of West 95th Street when someone walked up to them and fired shots.

A 41-year-old man was hit in his right hand and left foot, and a 22-year-old man was hit in his left foot. The men were taken to Little Company of Mary Hospital, where their conditions were not available, but they were listed as "stable," police said.

• At 12:48 a.m., a 27-year-old woman was wounded by a shooting in Ashburn, police said. The woman was standing on the sidewalk in the 8000 block of South Komensky Avenue when she heard shots and felt pain.

The woman's back was grazed by a bullet and she was taken to Palos Community Hospital, where she was treated and released, police said.

• At 12:30 a.m., a 41-year-old man was shot in Morgan Park while trying to stop two people from arguing, police said.

• At 12:16 a.m., a 21-year-old man was shot in North Lawndale, police said. The man was standing on the sidewalk in the 3900 block of West 13th Street when he heard shots and felt pain.

The man was hit in his left knee and he took himself to Rush University Medical Center. He was transferred to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 12:09 a.m., a 22-year-old man was shot in Washington Heights, police said. The man was standing on the sidewalk in the 10400 block of South Green Street when he heard shots and felt pain.

The man was hit in his left leg and he took himself to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 11:55 p.m. Tuesday, a 19-year-old man was shot in Tri-Taylor.

• At 11:44 p.m., a 27-year-old man was shot in Bronzeville, police said. The man was standing on a sidewalk in the first block of East 43rd Street when someone in a car fired shots.

The man was hit in his right leg and he was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 11:39 p.m., a 24-year-old woman was shot in Hyde Park.

• At 11:24 p.m., a 33-year-old man was shot in Pilsen.

• At 11:07 p.m., two men were shot in North Lawndale, police said. The men were standing on the sidewalk in the 1900 block of South Spaulding Avenue when they heard shots and felt pain.

A 25-year-old man was hit in his right forearm and right leg and he took himself to St. Anthony Hospital. He was transferred to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition, police said.

A 24-year-old man was hit in his left leg and he took himself to St. Anthony Hospital before being transferred to Mount Sinai Hospital. His condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 10:45 p.m., a 22-year-old woman was shot in North Lawndale, police said. The woman was sitting in a parked car in the 1200 block of South Lawndale Avenue when someone walked up to her and fired shots.

The woman was hit in her right leg and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where her condition was not available but she was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 10:05 p.m., two men were shot in North Lawndale, police said. The men were standing in the street in the 3400 block of West Grenshaw Street when they heard shots and felt pain.

A 36-year-old man had his abdomen grazed by bullets and a 26-year-old man was shot in his right leg. Conditions for the two were not available, but police said they were listed as "stable" at Mount Sinai Hospital.

• At 10 p.m., a 31-year-old man was shot in Washington Heights, police said. The man was standing on the sidewalk in the 10500 block of South Aberdeen Street when several people fired shots from a gangway.

The man was hit in his legs and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 7:38 p.m., a 26-year-old woman was shot in Woodlawn, police said. The woman was in the 6400 block of South Ellis Avenue when she was shot in her scalp.

The woman was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center, where her condition was not available but she was listed as "stable," police said.

No further information was immediately available.

• At 7:20 p.m., a 26-year-old man and 38-year-old man were shot in West Town.

• At 3:48 p.m., a 20-year-old man and 18-year-old man were shot in West Pullman, police said. The men were in the 11600 block of South State Street when they were shot.

The 18-year-old man was hit in his head and right arm and the 20-year-old man was hit in his armpit. The men were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where their conditions were not available but they were listed as "stable," police said.

The men were uncooperative with investigators, a police source said.

No one was in custody in these shootings.
