CHICAGO — A 21-year-old man was shot and killed in Riverdale on Tuesday night, police said.
At 5:18 p.m., the man was in the 200 block of East 132nd Street when a light-colored car pulled up and someone inside it fired shots at another car, police said.
The 21-year-old was hit in his face and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The man was identified as Aaron Gordon, of suburban Country Club Hills, in Cook County Medical Examiner's Office records. Gordon was pronounced dead at 6:39 p.m.
The man had been sitting in a parked car and officers did not think he was the intended target of the shooting.
No one was in custody.
