CHICAGO — A 24-year-old woman was shot in Hyde Park on Tuesday night, police said.
At 11:39 p.m., the woman was a passenger in a car driving in the 5400 block of South Shore Drive when several people standing on the sidewalk fired shots, police said.
The woman was hit in her legs but continued driving to the 1400 block of East 53rd Street, according to police.
She was taken to Northwestern Hospital, where her condition was not available but she was listed as "stable," police said.
No one was in custody as of Friday, according to police.
