CHICAGO — Two men, 26 and 38, were shot in West Town on Tuesday night, police said.

At 7:20 p.m., the men were in the 600 block of North Campbell Avenue when the younger man got into a fight in the street with several people and someone fired shots, police said.

The younger man was hit in his ankle and he took himself to Norwegian American Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

The older man was hit in his arm and he took himself to St. Mary Hospital in good condition, police said.

The younger man was a documented gang member, a police source said.

No one was in custody.
