Chicago 2014 Shootings

Shootings occurred Wednesday in North Lawndale, Gresham and Gage Park.  

The two shootings occured in Homan Square and Gresham overnight.

He was listed in good condition at Mount Sinai Hospital.

The woman is in good condition at Stroger Hospital, police said.

Two men, both 20-years-old, were killed in separate shootings in West Garfield Park and Gresham.

William R. Gardner, 31, of the 4700 block of South Vincennes Avenue, is due to appear in court Saturday.

The fatal shooting happened around 10:50 p.m. in the 8800 block of South Carpenter Street. 

Four people were shot, one fatally, in the 4400 block of West Madison Street around 1:10 a.m.

"The gun used to shoot a police captain was legally purchased in Indiana," McCarthy said.

Lorenzo Jones, 25, of the 7500 block of South Luella Avenue, is due to appear in court Friday.

Three men were shot at a house party in Greater Grand Crossing. Earlier, a man was shot in West Pullman.

The woman was in a car when she was shot in the back, police said.

The man was shot in the buttocks and leg, police said.
