CHICAGO — At least four people were injured in two separate shootings since Thursday evening.
Most recently, three men were shot at a party in Greater Grand Crossing.
Around 1:30 a.m. Friday, the men, ages 28, 28 and 31, were at a house party in the 7300 block of South Champlain Avenue when two men came in and began spraying bullets, striking one of the 28-year-olds in his left leg, the other in his abdomen and the 31-year-old in his buttocks and his left knee, according to Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago police spokeswoman.
The 28-year-old shot in his left leg was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where his condition had stabilized, Pacheco said.
The 31-year-old also was in stable condition after being taken to Stroger Hospital.
Police said they don't know of the other 28-year-old, but he was taken to Stroger Hospital.
No one is in custody, and detectives are investigating.
Just before 10 p.m. Thursday, a man was shot in West Pullman.
The man, 19, was standing on a corner in the 300 block of West 118th Street when he heard shots and felt pain, Pacheco said.
He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center with a gunshot wound in his lower back and his condition had stabilized, Pacheco said.
Police said the man is a documented gang member.
No one is in custody, and detectives are investigating.
