CHICAGO — Shootings have killed three people and wounded seven since Wednesday, police said.

• At 4:45 a.m. Thursday, a shooting in Back of the Yards killed a 38-year-old man.

• At 8:07 p.m. Wednesday, a 29-year-old man was shot and killed in Austin.

• At 6:40 p.m., David Martinez, 21, was shot dead in Little Village.

In non-fatal shootings:

• At 2:51 a.m. Thursday, a 24-year-old man was shot in Austin, police said. The man was walking down the street in the 5100 block of West Madison Street when someone in a silver car drove by and fired shots at him.

The man was hit in his arm and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

The man was a documented gang member, police said.

• At 3:26 p.m. Wednesday, a 21-year-old man was wounded in a shooting in North Lawndale.

• At 3:08 p.m., a shooting in West Pullman wounded a 23-year-old man.

• At 2:15 p.m., a 17-year-old was shot in Little Village.

• At 1:40 p.m., two 20-year-old men were shot in North Lawndale.

• At 11:58 a.m., a man was wounded in an Avalon Park shooting.
