CHICAGO — A shooting in Avalon Park wounded a man on Wednesday, police said.
At 11:58 a.m., the man was in the 8000 block of South Stony Island Avenue when he was shot in his left arm, police said.
The man was taken to Northwestern Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.
