CHICAGO — A shooting in Little Village wounded a 17-year-old on Wednesday, police said.
At 2:15 p.m., the teen was a passenger in a car in the 2100 block of South California Avenue when someone walked up and fired shots, police said. The teen was hit twice in his back.
The teen was taken to St. Anthony Hospital in serious condition and was later transferred to Stroger Hospital, police said.
