CHICAGO — A shooting in Little Village killed a 21-year-old man Wednesday, police said.
At 6:40 p.m., the man was getting out of a car in the 2600 block of West Luther Street when someone in another car fired shots at him, police said.
The man was hit in his head and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition, police said.
David Martinez, of the 2600 block of West Luther Street, was pronounced dead at 7:04 p.m., according to Cook County Medical Examiner's Office records.
