CHICAGO — Shootings have killed two people and wounded 12 others since Wednesday, police said.

• At 7:23 p.m. Wednesday, a 39-year-old man was killed in a shooting in Back of the Yards.

• At 6:57 p.m., a 24-year-old man was shot and killed in Grand Boulevard.

In non-fatal shootings:

• Most recently, 3 a.m. Thursday, a 22-year-old man was shot in Lower West Side.

• At 2:40 a.m., a 22-year-old man was shot in West Pullman, said Officer Laura Amezaga, a Chicago Police spokeswoman. Officers who tried to help were shot at.

• At 1:54 a.m., two men were shot in Austin, police said. The men were driving in the 800 block of North Leamington Avenue when they heard shots and felt pain.

A 26-year-old man was hit in his back and leg, and a 44-year-old man was hit three times in his arm and once in his back, police said. They were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition.

• At 10:34 p.m. Wednesday, a 24-year-old man was shot in Little Village.

• At 10:30 p.m., a 22-year-old man was shot in Chicago Lawn, police said. The man was walking on the sidewalk in the 7100 block of South Artesian Avenue when a man fired shots from a gangway.

The man was hit in his left arm and left calf and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

The man was a documented gang member, police sources said.

• At 10:08 p.m., a 16-year-old was shot while walking outside in Auburn Gresham.

• At 9:42 p.m., a 22-year-old man was shot in Garfield Park, police said. The man was driving in the 100 block of North Homan Avenue when a man in a car pulled alongside him and fired shots.

The victim was hit in his right cheek and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 6:55 p.m., a 22-year-old man was shot in Austin.

• At 9:20 a.m., a 28-year-old man was shot in Garfield Park.

• At 8:30 a.m., a 31-year-old man was wounded during a shooting in Austin.

• At 7:45 a.m., a woman was shot in Austin.

No one was in custody in these shootings unless otherwise noted.
