AUSTIN — A shooting in Austin left a man wounded Wednesday, police said.
A 22-year-old man was in the 200 block of South Central Avenue when another man walked up to him and opened fire, said Officer Michelle Tannehill, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
The man, who was shot in the leg and shoulder, was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition, Tannehill said.
No further information is available, police said.
