Auburn Gresham Shooting Wounds Boy, 16, Police Say

CHICAGO — A teen boy was wounded during a Wednesday night shooting in Auburn Gresham, police said.

At 10:08 p.m., the 16-year-old boy was walking on the sidewalk in the 7500 block of South Loomis Street when someone in a dark-colored sedan fired shots at him, police said.

The boy was hit in his left arm, and his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

No one was in custody.
