Six people were wounded in two separate incidents Sunday.

Two men and a woman were shot in the 1700 block of West 79th Street Sunday afternoon.

Two men and a woman were shot while sitting in car in the 5400 block of South Ellis, police said.

Three people were shot in the most recent incident in Humboldt Park, police said.

The most recent shooting left two people dead in the 2700 block of North Lavergne Avenue.

One man died in a police-involved shooting in South Shore, police said.

According to police, the man pointed a gun at officers before police fired shots.

Courtney Jackson, of the 1400 block of North Lotus Avenue, died at 1:20 a.m., officials said.

The shooting occurred in the 3900 block of West Addison Street, police said.

The man was walking in the 1200 block of North Homan Avenue when he was shot, police said.

The most recent shooting left a 24-year-old in critical condition, police said.

The most recent shooting happened shortly after midnight in East Garfield Park, police said.

A 17-year-old boy was among the four wounded Thursday, police said.

Most recently, a 27-year-old man was shot in Belmont Cragin early Wednesday.

The more recent shooting occurred in the 7300 block of South Halsted Street at 7:41 p.m.
