CHICAGO — Two men were wounded in separate shootings in Greater Grand Crossing Friday morning, police said.

Around 9:20 a.m., a 24-year-old man was in the 7400 block of South Perry Avenue when a black Honda drove up and one of the four people in the car got out and fired shots, said Officer Stacey Cooper, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The 24-year-old was shot in his back, hip, left leg and right finger and was taken to Stroger Hospital where he was listed in critical condition, Cooper said.

A few hours earlier at 6:02 a.m., a man was shot in the first block of West 71st Street, Cooper said.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition, Cooper said.
