The man was shot in the left leg, police said.

Police said the boy was not the intended target of the shooting.

Both men were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center.

The shooting occurred in the 5900 block of South Hermitage Avenue, police said.

Police said the woman was shot in both her legs.

One 16-year-old was killed in South Austin while another was wounded in West Pullman, police said.

Demond Avant, 16, was pronounced dead at West Suburban Hospital, authorities said.  

The man was grazed in his ear while driving Tuesday in the 3100 block of West Devon Avenue, police said.

The man was identified as Darnell Williams of the 600 block of West Cermak Avenue.

At 2:50 a.m., the off-duty officer saw a man waving a handgun in a middle of a crowd before approaching.

Police said the Black Friday incident that took one person's life was a murder-suicide attempt.

The fatal shootings happened on the Near North Side, Little Village, Brainerd and Marquette Park.

The 50-year-old victim was in serious condition after being shot during the robbery, police said.
