The fatal shooting happened about 4:45 p.m. in the 11100 block of South Homewood Avenue.

Brandon Peterson, 17, was shot and killed in a vacant lot across the street from his home Saturday.

The 19-year-old victim was shot in the face and torso.

Daniel Jones, 30, of the 4100 block of West Wolcott Street, was pronounced dead at 5:22 p.m. Tuesday.

Takia Lanza, 39, fatally stabbed her uncle, Louis Winn, 56, on Sunday evening, police said.

A man was stabbed to death, and an 11-year-old girl was among those hurt in a shooting late Sunday.

A woman is being questioned for the stabbing but no charges have been filed.

Brandon Peterson, 17, of the 3000 block of West Polk Street was pronounced dead at 12:26 a.m. Sunday.

Dewey Knox was shot on the sidewalk in the 1300 block of South Central Park Avenue Friday night.

Damian Williams, of the 5700 block of West Augusta Boulevard was pronounced dead at Mt. Sinai Hospital.

Dominique Hodricks allegedly opened fire at a passing car, striking three innocent bystanders.

The incident occurred in the 7100 block of South Harvard Avenue at 3 p.m., police said.

Paris Brown, 21, was killed and a man was wounded in the 7300 block of South Perry, authorities said.

The victim was identified as Alante Vallejo, 18.

The most recent shooting occurred just after 7 p.m. Sunday in Roseland, police said.
