CHICAGO — Shootings have killed five people and wounded 13 since Friday, police said.
• At 10:08 p.m. Friday, a 28-year-old man was shot dead in Dunning. His killers followed him in a car before opening fire, police said.
• At 8:30 p.m., a 52-year-old man was gunned down in Garfield Ridge while trying to drive away from the man who killed him.
• At 3:29 p.m., two people were shot dead and another two were wounded in Brighton Park.
• At 8:41 a.m., a 17-year-old was shot and killed while walking in Austin.
In non-fatal shootings:
• At 2:50 a.m. Saturday, a 44-year-old man was wounded in a shooting in Humboldt Park.
• At 1:15 a.m., a 16-year-old was shot in North Lawndale, police said. The boy was walking home in the 3500 block of West Roosevelt Road when a dark SUV drove up and someone inside fired shots at the boy.
The boy was hit in his knee and taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, police said.
• At 11:33 p.m. Friday, a 23-year-old man was shot while standing outside in Humboldt Park.
• At 10:55 p.m., an 18-year-old man was shot while standing on the sidewalk in Back of the Yards.
• At 6:12 p.m., a 19-year-old man was shot while walking outside in Back of the Yards.
• At 4:27 p.m., a 27-year-old man was shot and wounded in Roseland.
• At 3:49 p.m., four people were shot while waiting at a bus stop in North Lawndale.
• At 12:58 p.m., a 20-year-old man was shot in Albany Park.
No one was in custody in these shootings.
