Humboldt Park Shootings Wound 2 Men, Police Say

CHICAGO — Shootings in Humboldt Park have wounded two men since Friday, police said.

• At 2:50 a.m. Saturday, a 44-year-old man was driving down the street in the 4300 block of West Haddon Avenue when two people standing on the street fired shots at the man, police said.

The man's shoulder and back were grazed by bullets and he was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.

• At 11:33 p.m. Friday, a 23-year-old man was standing outside in the 1300 block of North Lawndale Avenue when a car drove up and someone inside fired shots, police said.

The man was hit in his buttocks and was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, police said.

The shooter drove away, police said.

No one was in custody in these shootings.
