CHICAGO — Two men were killed and 16 people were wounded in shootings around the city between Saturday morning and Sunday morning, police said.

Martell Rhodes, 30, died hours after being shot in West Garfield Park Saturday.

A 24-year-old man was killed and another man was wounded in a shooting in Back of the Yards early Sunday morning.

• Most recently, at 5:20 a.m., a 31-year-old man was shot in his wrist in the 3400 block of West Harrison Street, in East Garfield Park, according to Officer Bari Lemmon, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man brought himself to Norwegian Hospital for treatment, Lemmon said.

Police could not immediately provide any other information on the shooting.

• At 4:40 a.m., a 28-year-old man was shot and critically wounded in the Humboldt Park neighborhood.

• Between 3:30 a.m. and 4:30 a.m., two men were shot within a half-mile of each other in Little Village.

• At 2:40 a.m., a 32-year-old man was walking in the 700 block of South California Avenue in East Garfield Park when he heard gunshots and felt pain, according to a police incident report.

The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition with gunshot wounds in his back, chest, leg and abdomen, police said.

• At 11:48 p.m. Saturday night, a 17-year-old was shot near the North Branch of the Chicago River in Lincoln Park.

• At 10:11 p.m., a 22-year-old man was walking on the sidewalk in the 12300 block of South Yale Avenue in West Pullman when someone shot at him from a passing white SUV, police said.

The man refused medical attention on scene for a graze wound in his left torso, police said.

• At 9:41 p.m., two teenagers were walking on the sidewalk in the 10500 block of South Wallace Street in Roseland when someone shot at them from a passing black sedan, police said.

One boy, 15, was shot in his thigh and brought to Comer Children's Hospital, where he was considered "stable," police said.

The other teen, 17, was brought to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition after being shot in his back, police said.

• Also at 9:41 p.m., a 19-year-old man was riding in a car traveling in the 5200 block of South Albany Avenue in Gage Park when someone shot at him from a nearby white SUV, police said.

The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was "stable" with a graze wound on his head, police said.

• At 9:27 p.m., three men were sitting in a parked car in the 9500 block of South Green Street in Washington Heights when someone got out of a nearby car and shot at them, police said.

One man, 35, was shot in both thighs, police said. A 34-year-old man was shot in his right leg, and a 32-year-old man was shot in his neck, left shoulder and right arm.

All three men were brought to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where they were considered "stable," police said.

• At 7:28 p.m., a 24-year-old woman was hurt after being shot at in West Ridge.

• A man was hurt in a shooting in Park Manor early Saturday afternoon.

No one was in custody for any of the shootings, police said.
