Humboldt Park Shooting Leaves Man Critically Wounded, Police Say

CHICAGO — A 28-year-old man was shot and critically wounded in the Humboldt Park neighborhood early Sunday morning, police said.

At 4:40 a.m., the man was inside a club in the 3900 block of West Chicago Avenue when a man walked inside and shot at him, according to a police incident report.

The man was shot in his abdomen and brought to Stroger Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition, police said.

No one was in custody, police said.
