CHICAGO — A 17-year-old was shot on the western edge of Lincoln Park in Lathrop Homes late Saturday night, police said.
At 11:48 p.m., the teen was standing on the sidewalk in the 2600 block of North Hoyne Avenue when someone walked up and shot at him, according to a police incident report.
The teen was shot in his right thigh and brought to Illinois Masonic Hospital, where he was considered "stable," police said.
No one was in custody, police said.
