Park Manor Shooting Wounds Man, 28, Police Say

CHICAGO — A shooting in Park Manor left a 28-year-old man wounded on Saturday, police said.

At 12:11 p.m., the man was outside in the 7100 block of South Wabash Avenue when two men walked up to him and one of them fired shots, said Officer Michelle Tannehill, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man was hit in his right thigh and left arm, and he was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, Tannehill said. The two men ran away.

The man was a documented gang member, police said.

No one was in custody.
