CHICAGO — Two men have died and six others were injured in gun violence since Thursday, according to police.
A man was shot and killed in Austin at 11:50 p.m. Thursday, the most recent shooting, according to police.
Before that, a man was killed and another critically wounded in a shooting on Chicago Avenue in Humboldt Park, police said.
• In other shootings, a 16-year-old boy was injured after a drive-by in Little Village Thursday night.
• Two men were shot while driving in a KFC parking lot on the Near West Side, police said.
• An 18-year-old man was shot at noon in Riverdale, police said.
• At 8:40 a.m. Thursday, a 22-year-old man was shot in Englewood, police said.
