CHICAGO — An 18-year-old man died Saturday from a gunshot wound he suffered in a Thursday shooting that also left a 22-year-old man dead, officials said.

The men were standing in the 3400 block of West Chicago Avenue at 3:26 p.m. Thursday when two other men dressed in all black walked up and opened fire, said Officer Kevin Quaid, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The 22-year-old was shot in his chest and back and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Quaid said.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office identified the man as Deandre Trotter, of the 10900 block of South Edgebrook Avenue.

The 18-year-old was shot in his head and taken to Stroger in critical condition. He later succumbed to his wounds. The morgue identified him as Deangelo Black, of the 11100 block of South Edgebrook Avenue.

No arrests have been made as the investigation is ongoing, Quaid said.
