CHICAGO — A 23-year-old man was killed in an Austin shooting late Thursday, according to police.
The man was found by officers in the 4700 block of West Huron Street at 11:50 p.m. Thursday laying in the street with a gunshot wound in his head, said officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.
He was pronounced dead on the scene, Estrada said.
The man was identified as Jonathan Sanchez-Rosales, 23, of the 4600 block of West Huron Street, in Cook County Medical Examiner's records. Sanchez was pronounced dead at 12:07 a.m. April 8 of multiple gunshot wounds.
No arrests have been made as the investigation is underway, he said.
