CHICAGO — Shootings in Englewood left three men wounded between Wednesday night and Thursday morning, police said.
Most recently, at 8:40 a.m. Thursday, a 22-year-old man was shot while in the 6600 block of South Peoria Street, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman. The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, but his condition was not known, Pacheco said.
No further details were immediately available, Pacheco said.
At 12:01 a.m., a 22-year-old man was in the 2000 block of West 69th Street when he was shot in the arm, Pacheco said. The man took himself to Holy Cross Hospital, where he was in good condition.
Details about the shooting weren't immediately available, Pacheco said.
At 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, a 19-year-old man was in a car in the 5800 block of South May Street when a gold Nissan sedan pulled up alongside him and a man inside the car fired multiple shots at him, Pacheco said.
The victim was hit in the left shoulder and drove to the 900 block of West 57th Street, where he flagged down a police officer, Pacheco said. The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where his condition was not released but he was listed as stable, Pacheco said.
The victim was a documented gang member, police said.
No one was in custody in the shootings.
