Most recently, Orlando McArther, 26, died after being shot Saturday in Roseland.

Before that, a shooting in the lobby of the Hyatt Regency at McCormick Place left a 25-year-old man dead, and a 22-year-old man was killed in Garfield Park.

Weekend shootings also left 17 people wounded, including a Loyola student who was in serious condition after being shot while walking down the street Friday night and a woman who was in a car near Navy Pier when she was shot.
