CHICAGO — Two people were killed and at least 12 more wounded in gun violence across Chicago since Friday, according to police.

A 26-year-old man was fatally shot during an argument in a South Loop hotel lobby early Saturday, police said. A 22-year-old man was killed in an East Garfield Park shooting Saturday morning, according to police.

A Loyola student was walking with friends down Clark Street in Rogers Park when she was shot and seriously injured, police said.

• In non-fatal shootings, a 26-year-old man was wounded in an Austin shooting Saturday morning, according to Officer Janel Sedevic, Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man was outside with a group in the 5000 block of West Harrison Street at 6:30 a.m. when he heard shots and felt pain, Sedevic said. He was shot in his hand and managed to get himself to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was isted in good condition, Sedevic said.

• A 37-year-old woman was shot in Austin early Saturday, Sedevic said. She was on the sidewalk in the 300 block of North Cicero Avenue at 3:30 a.m. when someone in a passing red car opened fire, Sedevic said.

The woman was struck in her chest and abdomen and was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, Sedevic said.

• At 3 a.m., a man was shot while driving southbound on Interstate 57 near 111th St., according to the Chicago Tribune.

• A 25-year-old man was shot in Austin early Saturday, Sedevic said.

The man was on the sidewalk in the 5200 block of West Congress Parkway at 1:35 a.m. when he was shot in his left foot, Sedevic said. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in "stable" condition, she said. The man is a documented gang member, according to police.

• A 21-year-old man was shot in Hegewisch shortly after midnight Saturday, Sedevic said.

The man was on the porch in the 13200 block of South Commercial Avenue at 12:10 a.m. when he was shot in the left buttock, Sedevic said. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in "stable" condition, she said.

• A 38-year-old man was shot in East Garfield Park Friday night, Sedevic said.

He was arguing with a man in the 400 block of North Ridgeway Avenue at 7 p.m. when another person got out of a car, fired shots, then fled, Sedevic said.

The man was struck in his left leg and was taken to Norwegian American Hospital in good condition. He is a known gang member, police said.

• A 30-year-old man was wounded in a South Austin armed robbery Friday evening, Sedevic said.

The man was walking in the 200 block of South Lotus Avenue at 6:45 p.m. when a group walked up and announced a robbery, Sedevic said. They took the man's wallet and bag and also shot the man in his back, Sedevic said.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in "stable" condition, she said.

• A 39-year-old man and a 33-year-old man were wounded in an Auburn Gresham shooting Friday afternoon, Sedevic said.

The two men were in a car in the 1800 block of West 87th Street at 2 p.m. when someone walked up and opened fire on the car, Sedevic said. The 39-year-old was shot in his leg and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in "stable"
condition, Sedevic said.

The 33-year-old was shot in his right arm and was taken to Christ in serious condition, Sedevic said. Both men are documented gang members, police said.

• A 27-year-old man was shot in Grand Boulevard Friday afternoon, Sedevic said.

He was waiting at a red light in the 5000 block of South State Street at 12:05 p.m. when another car pulled up and fired one shot at him, Sedevic said. Realizing he was shot in his arm, the man drove to Stroger Hospital, where he is listed in good condition, Sedevic said.

• An 18-year-old man was shot in East Garfield Park late Friday morning, Sedevic said.

He was in the 200 block of North Homan Avenue at 10:50 a.m. when someone in a grey car opened fire, Sedevic said. The man was shot in his right leg and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition, she said.

No arrests have been made in any of the cases.

In above shootings, when victims are listed in "stable" condition, police were unable to identify which condition they were in.
