Uber and Lyft are a little more expensive Thursday morning.

It comes just as ride-hailing services won a suit with Chicago against cabs in a federal appeals ruling.

There were 3.3 million fewer trips in the first half of 2016 than during the same period last year.

"You think there's nothing new about Uber?" Judge Richard Posner said. "That's absurd."

Ed Burke and Anthony Beale submitted an ordinance that would put the brakes on "autonomous vehicles."

The driver had just stopped to pick up two passengers when he was carjacked at gunpoint, police said.

Ald. Joe Moore called proposed regulations on the ride-hailing industry "a wolf in sheep's clothing."

Ald. Anthony Beale wants ride-hailing firms and taxis to obey the "same regulations, same rules."

After working in Obama's White House, Plouffe became an advisor for the ride-hailing service.

The man robbed a woman inside her garage in the 2000 block of North Kenmore Avenue, police said.
