DOUGLAS — A 64-year-old Uber driver was carjacked and his passengers were robbed at gunpoint on Lake Shore Drive early Tuesday morning, police said.

Just after 2 a.m., the driver picked up two passengers in the 3100 block of South Lake Shore Drive when another car stopped in front of them and two people got out with guns, according to a police report.

They walked up to the Uber driver and told him to get out of the car, then robbed both passengers and told them to leave.

One of the passengers, a 30-year-old man, was still getting out of the car when the robber started to drive away, leaving him with a small cut on his head, police said.

The man was taken to Mercy Hospital, where he was listed in good condition after being treated for his injuries, police said.

No one is in custody, police said.
