Chicago 2013 shootings

An 18-year-old was shot multiple times in his chest, police said.

In the most recent shooting, a 28-year-old man was shot in University Village.

A 26-year-old man was killed in Austin. Three men were hurt when gunfire erupted in an Englewood lounge.

The 18-year-old was a passenger in a car when he was shot in his leg about 3:40 a.m. Saturday.

Two men are in serious condition after East Garfield Park and Austin shootings. No one was in custody.

Mason Smith, 22, of the 11600 block of South Bishop Street was pronounced dead at 10:38 p.m. Tuesday.

In one incident in Chatham, three men were shot, police said.

Jeremy Bafunsho, 19,  was fatally shot by a fellow passenger when a fight broke out in a car, cops said.

Another man, 24, was injured and had been arrested in the "gang-related shooting," authorities said.

One man was shot in the calf and the other was wounded in the arm, according to police.

A light-colored SUV was seen fleeing the scene, but it is unclear if it was related to the shooting.

The most recent shooting occurred in the 1400 block of East 76th Street.

A 37-year-old was shot in his neck after three men forced their way into his Englewood apartment.

While some residents were surprised, most said shootings only impacted gang members.

A man was killed in Rogers Park early Wednesday. Two were injured in Auburn Gresham Tuesday night.
