Terry Burnett of Harvey is due in court Thursday in connection with the Oct. 14 Chatham shooting.

The shooting occurred about 3:15 p.m. in the 8300 block of South Ellis Avenue, police said.

Another man was shot in Pilsen.

Louis Wherry, 36, confronted a man after his son was bullied and was killed, relatives said.

Felix Valdez, 44, was fatally shot after officers responded to a domestic battery call in his apartment.

Charles Moore, 18, was accused of killing 22-year-old Jarrell Dotson, authorities said.
