Andersonville Chamber of Commerce

Kyle Smith stepped down from his post as executive director of the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce.

The annual dinner crawl on Aug. 10 features more than 20 local businesses.

The people spots will be installed near Pastoral, Presence and True North Cafe Wednesday and Thursday.

Events include gift making, a visit from Santa, live music and deals from Andersonville shops.

Some the participating businesses include Rad Vintage, Spex and Milk Handmade, to name a few.

The family-friendly street festival, now in its 50th year, kicks off at 5 p.m. Friday.

The experimental theater group will present awards to local businesses at this year's annual gala.

A home decor store is partnering with social service agency Misericordia.

The founders of the business helped "put Andersonville on the map" said a new co-owner.

The event, scheduled for Sept. 20-21, highlights locally based breweries, musicians and artisans.

The pop-up park and fest debuted in July.

In the aftermath of past dinner crawls, trash bins on Clark Street have overflowed with trash.

For a fee, you can sample dinners from some of Andersonville's favorite restaurants.

The event coincides with a used book sale and the Olive in Motion pop-up park and party.

More than $52,000 has been raised toward the estimated repair bill of about $150,000.
