ANDERSONVILLE — Andersonville's annual dinner crawl will feature five new restaurants on its routes this year including: Elixir, Appellation, TrueNorth, Rare Bird Preserves and Goddess and Grocer.

The Taste of Andersonville, which allows diners to sample food choices from 20 different restaurants along Clark Street, will take place from 6-9 p.m. Aug. 10, according to a news release.

The crawl is split into two routes, salt (vegetarian-friendly) and pepper, allowing attendees to visit their favorite spots, try new restaurants and meet neighbors.

Advanced tickets for each route are $30. Tickets purchase the week of the event are $35. "The Whole Enchilada" package, which allows guests to dine on both routes, is $55 per person in advance and $65 the week of the event, the release said.

The event supports the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce and $1 from each ticket sale will be donated to Care For Real, an Edgewater food pantry.
