Eight people have been shot citywide since Sunday morning, police said.

The driver allegedly led police on a wild chase in Jefferson Park after causing multiple wrecks on I-94.

A 42-year-old man was killed in West Humboldt Park Saturday morning, police said.

Tony Ervin, of the 6000 block of South Sacramento Avenue, was stabbed at his home Friday.

The incident occurred in the "Cash $4 Gold" shop near East 79th Street and Bennett Ave., police said.

Police said the woman's body showed no signs of trauma. She was later identified as Amanda Pucci, 23.

A car crash early Tuesday morning in South Chicago left one dead and another injured, authorities said.

A driver lost control of her sedan in the 3800 block of South Western Avenue about 3:15 a.m. Sunday.

Kennedy Expressway ramps were closed at Division Street after the accident.

Police found the man dead in the hallway of a building in the 7800 block of South Ingleside Avenue.

Shots were fired from the vehicle before the fatal crash, police said.

Residents said they were scared and frustrated by a recent rash of street violence in the neighborhood.

Shootings occurred in Ashburn, Englewood and Auburn Gresham.
