CHICAGO — Shootings since Friday afternoon have killed 13 and wounded 42 others throughout the city, according to police.

Five men were killed and seven others wounded — including a 3-year-old boy and a man shot by police — in shootings since Sunday alone, police said.

Davon Quinn, 3, was shot while riding in a car with his dad in Woodlawn Sunday afternoon, the first shooting of the day, police said. He is listed in critical condition but is expected to survive, according to his mother.

Police shot an armed man after a foot chase in Humboldt Park Sunday night, police said.

An assault rifle was used to kill a 17-year-old teenager in the Back of the Yards Sunday evening, police said.

A 21-year-old man was fatally shot on Lake Shore Drive in Streeterville before being abandoned by his driver in Bronzeville Sunday night.

The most recent fatal shooting was at 1:30 a.m. Monday, when a 22-year-old man was found shot to death in Greater Grand Crossing, police said.

• At 12:48 a.m. Monday, a 29-year-old man was killed in Englewood, police said.

• A 21-year-old man walked into an Englewood Hospital Sunday night with a gunshot wound before he died, police said.

The most recent non-fatal shooting came at 3:40 a.m., when a 33-year-old man was wounded in a West Garfield Park shooting, said Officer Jose Estrada, Chicago Police spokesman.

The man was in an alley in the 700 block of South Kildare Avenue at 3:40 a.m. when he was shot in his right arm, Estrada said. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, he said.

• At 2 a.m. Monday, a 23-year-old man was wounded in a Back of the Yards shooting, Estrada said.

The man was getting out of a car in the 1200 block of West 48th Street when someone in a passing white Jeep opened fire, Estrada said. He was struck in the hand and arm and was brought to Stroger Hospital in good condition, police said.

• At midnight Monday, a 25-year-old man was shot in Englewood, Estrada said.

He was on the sidewalk in the 7200 block of South May Street when a man emerged from a nearby gangway and began firing, Estrada said. The man was shot in his foot and was taken to Holy Cross Hospital in good condition, he said.

• Two men were shot at a Washington Park party Sunday night, police said.

Shootings on Saturday resulted in three deaths and 23 wounded, according to police. Five people were killed and 12 others wounded in shootings on Friday, police said.
