EDGEWATER — Chipotle held a grand opening Monday for its new location in Edgewater.
The burrito fast-food joint opened at the former Piser Funeral Home that's now a strip mall at 5206 North Broadway. Piser was torn down in 2014.
The 20,000-square-foot shopping center was developed by Chody Real Estate. PetSmart plans to occupy another 8,000-square-foot unit in the mall. There are a few other units not yet leased.
