ANDERSONVILLE — Paired Wine Co. is on the move.

The independent wine store will close up shop at 3325 N. Halsted St. in Lakeview Sunday but will reopen near Balmoral Avenue and Clark Street in Andersonville, according to its Facebook page.

In January 2016, owner Joseph Giannini chased down the high-tech Enomatic machines, a wine vending machine offering customers 3-ounce samples and providing customized advice on which pairs best with their next meal.

The four Enomatic machines let customers sample 16 bottles of wine in half-glass servings. Before throwing down $55 for a bottle of wine you might hate, you could try some for $7.50. The samples range from $3-$8 as Paired rotated its selection.

The wine shop also hosted classes where customers make candles or make pasta while drinking wine.

Giannini could not be reached and the store was closed Thursday. He has owned Paired Wine since February 2013.
