SOUTH LOOP — A man fired shots in a South Loop Target parking garage before fleeing in a stolen BMW on Tuesday afternoon, officials said. 

No one was hurt when a man robbed the owner of a white BMW at gunpoint at Roosevelt Road and Clark Street, police said.

CBS and ABC news report the carjacking happened in a parking garage for the South Loop Target at the Roosevelt Collection shopping mall at 1154 S. Clark St.

The carjacking was reported after the suspect robbed another victim of a silver Buick at 1:28 p.m. Tuesday in the 3700 block of West 16th St., police said. 

Police described the suspect as a 5-foot-9, 130-pound man wearing a yellow leather jacket.
