The most recent shooting occurred at about 1:20 a.m. Monday in Little Village when a 33-year-old man was standing in the 3900 block of West 24th Street and another man came out of a nearby alley and opened fire. The man drove himself to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition after being shot in his neck and back, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago police spokesman.

The victim drove to the 4000 block of South Michigan Avenue, where he was transferred to Stroger Hospital in stable condition, Estrada said.
